Ho Chi Minh City Open University Vietnam invites you to the Vietnam’s Business, Economics & Resources Conference (VBER2020) to be held on 2nd – 4th July 2020 at Sheraton Saigon Hotel, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The key theme of our VBER2020 Conference is “EMERGING ECONOMIES IN A NEW DECADE: CHALLENGES VS. OPPORTUNITIES”.
VBER2020 is the premier Vietnamese conference for academics, policymakers, practitioners, and postgraduate students. This year, we welcome world-class keynote speakers, Professor Marc Paolella, Editor-in-Chief, Journal of Econometrics, from University of Zurich, Switzerland; and Professor Wing-Keung Wong, Chair Professor at the Department of Finance, Asia University. In particular, a special session for research students and early career researchers is scheduled during the VBER2020 Conference with the presence of world-class professors and senior academics as the discussants/advisors. We are also planning a special session for research students to share research ideas and any research topic is welcome in this session.
Ten papers from VBER2020 Conference will be considered for publication in the SSCI-indexed Journal.
For papers presented at the VBER2017, VBER2018 and VBER2019 Conferences, 16 papers have been published in the Emerging Markets Finance and Trade (SSCI journal). In 2018, 6 papers have been published in the Review of Pacific Basin Financial Markets and Policies (ISI and Scopus journal). For VBER2019, 14 papers have now been published in Journal of Risk and Financial Management (ISI journal).
